Ingredients:
1 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbls. vanilla
2 1/2 c. rolled oats
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
6 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. walnuts
1/2 c. shredded coconuts
6 oz. mini M&Ms
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. In a food processor, blend oatmeal until fine. Add to flour mixture. Stir butter mixture into dry mixture. Blend well. Add goodies and stir till blended. Roll into golf ball size and bake for 8-10 minutes. You do not want to over bake these cookies.

Orange Slice Cookies
Ingredients:
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. coconut
2 c. flour
1/4 t. salt
1/2 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1 lb orange slices, chopped
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla until well mixed. Sift in flour, salt, pwd, soda. Stir in oatmeal, coconut and orange slices.
***I like it best with no orange slices and lots of nuts and milk chocolate chips. Recipe is from Amanda Haverkamp.

5 cups oatmeal (ground into flour)
4 tsp baking soda
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 12oz bags chocolate chips
8 oz Hershey bar, shaved
3 c. nuts
Directions:

- Cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Mix together flour, oat flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Stir in chocolate chips, grated Hershey bar and nuts (if using). Drop by 1 1/2" balls onto cookie sheet with parchment. Bake at 375° for 6-10 minutes.

Scotcheroos
Ingredients:
1 c. Karo syrup
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
6 c. rice krispies
1/2 bag milk chocolate chips
3 squares chocolate almond bark
Directions:
Heat first three ingredients for one minute; stir. Heat an additional 1 1/2 minutes. Stir in rice krispies; spread in a pan. Melt chocolate and spread on top.

Twix Bars
Grease a Jelly Roll pan (11x16)
1st layer:
Press 2 tubes of Peanut Butter cookie dough in the pan. (Sometimes Wal-Mart doesn't have any Peanut butter cookie dough and I used chocolate chip. Once I tried sugar cookie dough but it wasn't near as good).
Bake at 350* 12-15 minutes OR til golden brown. Let Cool completely.
2nd layer:
Unwrap then melt a 14 oz. bag of Caramels, with 1 stick oleo or butter and 1 can of Sweeten Condensed Milk. Pour over the cooled cookie dough. Let Cool.
3rd Layer:
Really Really Reallllly rich!!!!!!!!! but so so good...
Got this recipe from a parent at PT conferences. I could hardly meet with any parents as I was in the lounge snacking on these all night!

Puppy Chow
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 9 cups chex
- 3/4 cup powder sugar
- mix together the first three ingredients in a microwavable bowl.
- heat for 1 minute.
- stir, and heat for 30 minutes.
- stir, and add vanilla
- put the chex in a 2 gallon bag
- pour chocolate mixture in the bag
- mix together in bag
- add the powder sugar in the bag
- mix again
