Puppy Chow

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 9 cups chex
  • 3/4 cup powder sugar
Directions
  1. mix together the first three ingredients in a microwavable bowl.
  2. heat for 1 minute.
  3. stir, and heat for 30 minutes.
  4. stir, and add vanilla
  5. put the chex in a 2 gallon bag
  6. pour chocolate mixture in the bag
  7. mix together in bag
  8. add the powder sugar in the bag
  9. mix again

    I think number 3 should say heat for an additional 30 seconds not 30 minutes. : D

    Also you should remember that after you add the chocolate you want it to cool some before adding the powdered sugar otherwise you end up using a TON of powdered sugar.
